My choice for the art journal that I'm going to follow is Frieze On Line. The link is as follows:
http://www.cinema-scope.com/
I chose this art journal because it is well respected and I also wanted to get a non-American view of art, so I chose this London-based company. I hope to greatly benefit from readings of it and hope to focus on what good art really is.

Hey Brandon -
I'm confused: you said you were going to be reading Frieze online but you listed the website for Cinemascope. Hmmm. While both are international (Cinemascope comes from the Great North), I am assuming that, since you cite London, you are referring to Frieze.
Correct me if I am wrong, and I hope you go to the right site. And the Frieze site is quite right for what you are looking for - although they may at times discuss American artists. But it is lively and smart, I think, and it considers film, video, and other media in a way that should expand one's sense of the possibilities of the medium. Which is all to say that I always learn something from it when I read it.
So: I am looking forward to your posts, from, I believe, Frieze. You should read the guidelines posted on the D2L site for what is required for this next round of blogs, which need to be posted by October 29.
Get back to me with any questions.
